We organized a 12-day artistic residency at Sõltumatu Tantsu Lava, Tallinn (Estonia), 5-16 August. The residency followed a 4-day workshop at M-ITI in June, with 10 dancers and choreographers, to evaluate our prototypes of software for interactive live visuals in dance performance. Those performers were invited to submit proposals for the residency, adopting our software. 8 proposals were submitted, and 4 were chosen. In Tallinn, we worked with those 4 choreographers and 7 local dancers, to prepare a final showcase, on the 16th August. Partners from M-ITI, Hochschule Düsseldorf and Plux also participated. The 4 pieces presented at the showcase were: A Dance to Remember, Connection Retrieval, E-motional Landscapes and (Im)possible Bodies: The Beautiful Glitch.
